During the autumn of 2017, BIT20 Club will be getting busy with glass and its sound dimensions. Glass is made from sand and materialises naturally when sand melts at very high temperatures. Clear glass was invented about 2000 years ago and of course today it is an intrinsic part of our everyday lives. BIT20 Club are collaborating with glass artist Krister Salomon-Hammersland and S12 Open Access Studio and Gallery, a project where they will be immersing themselves in the audible secrets of glass. The goal is to build a range of glass instruments and compose music on them, and other everyday objects made of glass.
